THE BRIEF
A kitchen shaped by its setting
Patricia and Giles asked INTEGRAL to undertake a complete turnkey renovation of their kitchen at Bristol Mansions. Working in a Grade I-listed building called on our experience of projects where the existing architecture and protected setting must be considered throughout.
The brief brought plumbing, electrical work, surfaces, tiling, carpentry and decoration into one coordinated project. The finished room pairs contemporary kitchen details with the building’s Regency character.
THE DETAIL
Specialist work, joined up
The Minerva solid surface was fabricated on site and installed alongside the wider kitchen works. From services and preparation through to bespoke carpentry and final decoration, the project brought different specialist tasks together around one brief.
The photographs show the contrast between the room’s decorative cornice and sash window, silver Metro-style tiling, crisp worktops and dark cabinetry.
