A complete kitchen renovation in a Grade I-listed Kemptown building, with made-to-measure worktops, skilled trades and careful detailing, all brought together by one team.
THE BRIEF
A kitchen shaped by its setting
Patricia and Giles asked us to take care of their whole kitchen renovation at Bristol Mansions, from start to finish. Because the building is Grade I-listed, we drew on our experience of projects where the original architecture has to be respected at every stage.
The work covered plumbing, electrics, worktops, tiling, carpentry and decorating, all run as one project. The finished kitchen pairs modern details with the building’s Regency character.
THE DETAIL
Specialist work, joined up
The Minerva solid-surface worktops were made to measure on site and fitted alongside the rest of the kitchen. From the plumbing, electrics and preparation through to bespoke carpentry and final decorating, each specialist job came together around one brief.
The photos show the contrast between the room’s decorative cornice and sash window and the metallic metro tiles, crisp white worktops and dark cabinets.
